Plankenkoorts celebrated her 10th anniversary with a benefit gala night in Theater de Meervaart, Amsterdam!
There were performances of a.o. Close-Act, Originally Fake and of course we ourselves also performed. All proceeds
from the evening were donated to WarChild.
Theatre programme
The theatre programme started with the filmpremière of the remake of Hoop it!. Hoop it! was the very first
dance performance of Plankenkoorts. With the three of us on our scooter we danced
this performance more then 150 times throughout the Netherlands. For our anniversary we invited choreographer
Soosan Gilson and film artist Rick RobiN
to make a remake of Hoepel op! in the form of a dance film.
Host of the evening Frank van Eunen broke off his holiday especially for us. He presented the entire programme and in
between performances he told the audience a lot about the past ten years of Plankenkoorts.

Next was the performance ’I spy with my little eye’ by Femke Luyckx, who has been a dancer at Plankenkoorts since 2002.
Today she represented her own company Originally Fake.
I Spy was followed by the performance FRAGILE by Plankenkoorts. For this special occasion with a
cast of Caroline and Katjoesja.
Afterwards we stayed on stage, to answer some pop questions from Frank together with the audience.
Who remembers what they were doing ten years ago?
